The project involved the complete M&E services installations to 3 new stand-alone 2 storey classroom blocks within the existing primary schools grounds.
The works encompassed the CDP’s, delivery and installation of all materials and equipment deemed necessary to provide a complete mechanical and electrical services installation and for the testing and setting to work of the complete installation.
This summary highlights the fact that the M&E services elements were presented in discrete work packages and comprising, but not limited to the following:-

Air Source Heat Pump Multiple variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system
Air Distribution Equipment Ductwork & Fire Dampers / VCDs
Supply & installation of LV Distribution Equipment
General purpose sockets and small power
Installation of new lighting & power distribution board
Earthing and protection
Primary lighting systems. Luminaires and lamps
Emergency and directional lighting systems
Fire detection systems
High and low level cabling containment systems
Testing and commissioning and demonstration of services to employers’ staff
Provision of O&M manuals and record drawings
Despite the frantic 7 week build programmes, all three schools were delivered within budget and opened on time.
